Wayne Wallingford has won the primary election to be the next State Senator for the 27th district.

“I want to thank the people of southeast Missouri for all of their support. It is an honor to be given the responsibility to be the next State Senator for our region, and this responsibility is not something which I will take lightly,” said Wallingford. “Too few in the Senate have the courage to get real work done. That’s not me. I will work hard to be a strong voice for southeast Missouri’s conservative values, and I will fight to pass the reforms we need to get our state back on track and encourage the creation of the quality jobs that area families need.”

He continued, “Again, I want to thank everyone for all of their support. I couldn’t have won without each and every person who helped my campaign. I would also like to give special thanks to Missouri Right to Life for endorsing my campaign. I am 100% pro-life, and I will continue to make protecting the sanctity of life my top priority.”
